The Most Effective Way To Fight Spiritual Warfare
In the days that we live in times can be depressing, and down right discouraging as a believer...
So what is the most effective way to deal with the attacks coming from every way we turn?
How our ancient brothers would have fought a war.
The ancients knew Yahuah’s art of war (spiritual warfare). Some may ask themselves what is this art of war that the ancients used. Well according to scripture David would have the the singers and dancers go out before any battle as it is written in the Psalms Yahuah hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the Elohai of Ya`aqov defend you; Send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Tsiyon; Remember all your offerings, and accept your ascending smoke sacrifice; Celah... Grant you according to your own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.
We will rejoice in your YeShu`Ah, and in the name of our Elohiym we will set up our banners: Yahuah fulfill all your petitions. Now know I that Yahuah saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. PSALMS 20:1-6 This is how David prepared for battle by sending the singers and dancers before his army.
Why is that?
Well... because Daw-veed understood how the battles were truly won, not by the might of his own hand, but the hand of the almighty Elohim that He served. Look at what he says here:
So if He inhabits the praises this means that through praise Yah dwells among His people.
Here is a side note YeShu`Ah said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:20)” So imagine if an army is gathered together and praising on one accord how much more He is there to destroy the armies of wickedness that come against you...
Even years later David’s great grandson Yahushaphat knew this was a basic concept to win battles. For instance in 2 Chronicles 20:20-22 it is stated, 20 Early in the morning all the people left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they star ted out, Yahushaphat stood up.
He said, “Yahudah, listen to me! People of Yerusalem, listen to me! Have faith in Yahuah your Eloah. He’ll take good care of you. Have faith in his prophets. Then you will have success.” 21 Yahushaphat asked the people for advice. Then he appointed men to sing to Yahuah. He wanted them to praise Yahuah because of his glory and holiness. They marched out in front of the army. They said:
“Give thanks to Yahuah!! His faithful love continues forever!!”
They began to sing and praise him. Then Yahuah hid some men and told them to wait. He wanted them to attack the people of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir. They had gone into Yahudah and attacked it. But they lost the battle. The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir. They destroyed them. They put an end to them. When they finished killing the men from Seir, they destroyed one another.
Well HalleluYAH!! Look at how Yah fights on behalf of his people That Calls On His Glorious Name!
Praise is what we do when times are good and even when they are bad. This is why Paul tells us:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places".
We must understand what we are facing with Covid and the experimental "Vaccine" and all this propaganda to spread fear. This is actually one of Satans tactics to take a nation over. As believers in Mashiach we are not given a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), so now is not the time to cower in a corner, but instead focus on learning the psalms, fasting, and praying so that you are able to stand in the days of wickedness.
Before I end this article let me give you one more example of spiritual warfare.
In Acts chapter 16 Paul and Silas had been placed in prison because they were being persecuted by a soothsayer and when Paul rebuked the spirt to come out of the young lady her handlers were pretty mad, needless to say Paul and Silas were beaten with 39 stripes and thrown in prison. Late that night about midnight this happened, “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. (Acts 16:25-26).
The part I want you to focus on is that Paul and Silas had been wrongfully beaten and thrown in prison and yet they were filled with joy to pray and sing during the middle of a bad circumstance...
Do you want to know why?
Because they had been counted worthy to suffer for the namesake of Messiah. Yeshuah said:
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake" (Matthew 5:11).
The battle is heating up, Yeshuah said that He will have you either hot or cold but if you are Luke warm He will spit you out (Rev. 3:16). So come out of that box, turn off that tv and false media.
Seek Yah practice fasting, praying and reading scripture.
Learn to sing songs in the midst of your tribulation, and whatever you do, do not moan and complain it only hinders the move of the Holy Spirit in your life. The days will only get darker and as they do your light should get brighter while spreading the Gospel and standing up for your faith even if it means losing your life, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Rev 12:11)".
Meaning that the devil is going to do all that he can to make us quit, complain, and even operate in our emotions, but if you learn spiritual warfare Yahuah’s way then no matter what is thrown at you, you will be able to sing and praise your way through it and watch how Yah fights your battle as he did countless times for our ancestors. Trust Yah during these final hours that we are living in and keep your integrity no matter what is thrown your way.
Shalom and Blessings,
